Tai Chi

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner accompanied by deep breathing.

The slow, gentle movements of the art of Tai Chi is beneficial in many ways.  Improved sleep, strength, focus, balance, range of motion, reduced pain and stiffness in conditions such as arthritis and fibromyalgia are just a few of the health benefits associated with Tai Chi.

Tai Chi is often described as “meditation in motion.” It helps reduce stress and anxiety by promoting a serene state of mind through the gentle, flowing motion of the form. We become more mindful and present while executing each posture, and as a result, we find peace.

Energy Arts

Private and small group sessions include, but are not limited to, Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, Shamanic practices and Aromatherapy.  Working with the energy body identifies and releases deeply suppressed feelings and core cellular memories. These processes promote deep relaxation which aid in stress reduction.
